The former kitchen was small and only allowed for a single person to cook; it did not meet the needs and function of this busy family. The formal dining room did not allow a table to extend for large gatherings, and it felt disconnected to the other spaces. Our goal was to create an open concept space, update the aesthetic and maximize glazing to bring in the view of the beautiful yard. To ensure a seamless transition through the rest of the house, we updated finishes throughout, including two full bathroom renovations. The family wanted the spaces to feel warm and inviting including unique textures, wood accents and rich finishes.

This kitchen was dark and closed off from the great room, calling for a brighter, open layout. We removed a load-bearing wall and installed a beam to create an open-concept space, adding an island with seating and dedicated bar area. A layered mix of materials defines each zone, while a new window and elevated finishes bring light and elegance to the space. The new layout improves flow, proportions, and appliance placement for easy entertaining.
The exterior of this home felt dated and tired. The house was due for new windows and some porch repairs, so we took the opportunity to improve the overall aesthetic of the building. We changed the siding, installed new windows and doors, added some wood accents, and the biggest change of all: tinted the brick! It’s hard to tell there was a change made, the brick stained so beautifully.

The owners of this country property wanted a refresh inside and out, with an emphasis on outdoor living and entertaining. We designed and built expansive outdoor spaces including a screened porch, vaulted upper porch, fire pit, and BBQ area. Inside, renovations created a more open, cohesive layout with a relocated laundry, expanded foyer, and custom bar, all finished with meticulous attention to detail in collaboration with the homeowners.
