What is Included?
Our Project Coordination services involves us being present during the construction phase and maintaining communication with the contractors and trades. We will keep a current list of finishes to be selected, discussions to be had, and items that need our attention. Relax during your build, and let us keep things on track!
How Does It Work?
Many clients ask us to be the main point of contact and bring to them the decisions that need their attention, along with a recommendation. This phase often involves weekly site visits to check in with contractors and trades and make the necessary on-site decisions. Some clients even go on holiday during the build, leaving the decision making to us. This requires a strong relationship and clear and concise communication.
Often, depending on the contractor’s involvement, we also track the selections required and final specifications of all materials being used. Sometimes, we also track budgets.
Project Coordination can limit your involvement as the home owner if you don’t have the time or interest to take on this role, or if you are required to travel and will not be available for decision making.
