WEST GALT KITCHEN

   This kitchen needed a refresh. While the layout worked well, it was in need of better traffic flow and visual balance.

PROJECT SUMMARY

The former kitchen was starting to show its age; in addition to the wear and tear, the layout felt a little closed off. Our goal was to improve the overall function of the kitchen while updating the aesthetic. We wanted to add a separate wall oven and create a focal point. We relocated a doorway to improve traffic flow and the proportions of the island.

PROJECT OUTCOME

We achieved a well balanced space by designing a fireplace feature wall including wall paneling to match the kitchen. The new large island allows great entertaining space and a comfortable spot to sit for casual meals.
